Can't find anything great about it except hype!

hmmmm...

Ever use a product or have you been lulled into it by advertising hype? This happened to me the other day. It was a famous ASP editor. I won't name it cause that's not the point of this article.  I am just mad that it wasted my time. And, isn't that about the most valuable thing we really have going for us these days...time?

I wasted mine (time) because I was suckered into downloading, installing and semi-evaluating (didn't take much time evaluating this product). All I got from the experience was annoyed.

It's really amazing to me that, usually, the most hyped products are the ones you are least likely to...like! The products you find by accident are the best bets. If I was a betting man I would say it is because the most hyped products spend their time and resources on....hyping. Whereas the others spend their time and resources on actually creating a good product.

All I can conclude with is this: The add/remove programs icon wasn't close enough when I decided to uninstall this product.

I even felt so bad while writing this up that I went and installed the program again to see if maybe, just maybe, I was being to hard on this product. NAY!

I don't know. I've download quite a bit of software but I try not to get too excited about the Web site's hype anymore. It's just a disappointment most of the time.
